More Than a Meal: Why We Break Bread Together at Teach Passion Summit
At most conferences, dinner is an afterthought—an open evening where people scatter into small groups, go their separate ways, and network in circles they already know.
At Teach Passion Summit, we do it differently. We all come to the table. Together. And honestly? It’s one of my favorite parts of the entire experience.
Why a Shared Meal Matters
We spend two full days growing, learning, and dreaming together. And then—on the evening in between—we gather for one shared dinner.
Not a breakout dinner.
Not a VIP dinner.
Not a “pick your group and go.”
One big table. One big family.
This isn’t just logistics. It’s intentionality. We keep the Summit at a size where everyone can connect—because we believe transformation happens in community, not in silos.
Food with Purpose
Our dinner is catered by Dutch’s, one of my absolute favorite local restaurants. The meal is included in your registration—no surprise cost, no figuring out per diems, no awkward receipts. But more importantly, it’s rooted in something much deeper. I’m a person of faith, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that one of the last things Jesus did with His disciples was break bread. Across Scripture, when something mattered deeply, it happened around a table. Because when you share a meal with someone, you don’t just learn their name—you learn their story.
A Moment of Connection
This dinner isn’t just about food. It’s about relationships. It’s about slowing down.
It’s about looking someone in the eye and saying, “I see you. I’m with you.”To quote Mr. Rogers:
“There isn’t anyone you couldn’t learn to love once you’ve heard their story.”
That’s what dinner at Teach Passion is all about.
If you're looking for more than just another conference—if you want to learn, grow, and truly do life with others—then come break bread with us this February.
We saved you a seat.
